Resetting Permalinks in WordPress
We all love SEFs these days (Search Engine Friendly URLs), but if your .htaccess file got messed up or if you have just installed a new WordPress plugin, your website menu and links might not be behaving themselves.
Fortunately, WordPress provides a 'flush' feature for it's permalink (what WordPress calls its SEFs) settings. In most cases your problems can be solved by simply visiting settings->permalinks in your WordPress backend admin area.
In most cases you don't even have to do anything else - just visiting the page will trigger the 'flush' mechanism!
